Wow, this year has been interesting with the economy going down the way it has, but
there is light at the end of the tunnel and we hope a recovery comes soon for our
country economy. Well we at The Lake Chabot Junior Golf Academy are really trying
to keep the light burning just as we have been doing for the past 16 years and that
is to provide free access to golf for the youth of our area. But, as you can guess
time are getting hard for everyone and we at the LCJGA are not immune to this either
so we are looking for better ways to find sources of continuations. We are operating
on a shoestring budget and need to find other way of augmenting our budget. We can
keep doing the work we do for as little as $375.00 per child and an enrollment of
50 children for a total of about $18,750.00 a year. We understand that not everyone
can afford to write a check for that amount but we hope that some of you can sponsor
1 or 2 children for a year and help us help make more responsible citizen for the
future.
